sales ai specialist
beeps is an early-stage startup in austin building AI agents for on-call and incident response. we're looking for someone to work closely with our founder to build out our sales motion from scratch.
what you'll do
you'll work alongside our founder through the full sales cycle, from first call to close. we sell to engineering and ops leaders who are tired of burning out their teams on on-call. you'll use AI agents like openclaw to research accounts, prep for calls, write follow-ups, and stay on top of a pipeline bigger than one person should be able to handle.
- work with our founder on discovery, demos, negotiation, and closing. the goal is for you to grow into a full-cycle AE over time
- use AI automation to research prospects, personalize outreach, and manage follow-ups
- learn to sell to engineering managers and ops leaders. you'll pick up the technical side fast because our founder will be right there with you
- help refine pricing, packaging, and what the pitch actually sounds like
who you are
- you've done a year or so in sales — SDR, BDR, whatever the title was — and you're hungry for more responsibility than booking meetings
- you know ai is changing everything and don't want to be left behind
- you're already using AI to prep for calls, write emails, or manage your pipeline. if not, you want to learn fast
- you don't need a technical background, but you're curious enough to learn why on-call sucks and talk about it like you mean it
- you want mentorship but you don't want to be micromanaged. give you a direction and you'll run
- you want to be at a startup early enough that your work actually shapes the company
why beeps
on-call is brutal. engineers get woken up at 3am, scramble through solutions, and burn out. we're building agents that handle the worst of it so people don't have to. it's a problem worth solving, and we're early enough that what you do here will shape how the company grows.

this is a hybrid role in austin, tx. we have a small, dog-friendly office in a craftsman off of west 6th street downtown. competitive salary + early-stage equity.
